Office Based Addiction Treatment

Hello, my name is Dr. Don Bovell.

As an actively practicing emergency medicine physician, I have seen first hand  how addiction devastates people, our families and our community. Although successful resuscitation of the overdosed patient is essential, and treatment of the associated medical and surgical conditions is necessary,  what happens to our patients after they leave the emergency room and hospital?  There is very good evidence that office based treatment consisting of medication and brief counseling is very effective in supporting remission in the lifelong process of recovery from addiction. I would like to offer that service to you.
